The Gateway Project Team
The chart below illustrates the internal structure we have established. The Vestry is responsible for key decisions, but it has delegated much of the day-to-day management to a Steering Group. This is chaired by Ollie, and the other members are Katherine Burnett our Finance Director, Brodie Petrie the People’s Warden, and Eric Adair as Project Director. Eric is supported by Michelle Denning in the role of Project Manager.
This project is working under the framework of our existing governance structure and is managed by Godly, Spirit-filled people, who love and serve St Mungo’s and who have the right professional knowledge.

The Gateway Project Vision
The Client Brief
We are so excited to share the first section of the Client Brief with the church family. It has taken six months of workshops and discussions between Page\Park (the lead architect), staff and Vestry to get to this point. This is because the Client Brief (sometimes referred to as the Project Brief) is a hugely important document, which will be used by the Design Team to plan and build a new church building that meets the needs of St Mungo’s.
In October 2024, Page\Park held workshops to gather information about St Mungo’s (what ministries we offer, facilities we currently use and how we want the new building to feel). You can watch a short video showing what these sessions with the architect looked like here.
Ana from Page\Park have prepared three short videos (below) to help us understand the importance of the Client Brief, the process to get here and the things that stand out to her about St Mungo’s. We hope you enjoy!
