Giving to the Gateway Project

For over 150 years, St Mungo's has been on an amazing journey in Balerno. We've seen God's faithfulness in every season, growing from Ladycroft to our current space at Balerno High School and now we believe God is calling us forward into a new chapter.

The Holy Spirit started nudging Ollie back in 2022, whispering about creating a new building – what we're calling The Gateway Project. This isn't just about a building; it's about unleashing our potential to truly Be Love to our community.

Our former organist, Janet Brodie, bequeathed the Woodcroft field in 1942, with the clear purpose of a new church being built right there! After a season of prayer and fasting, as a leadership and as church family, Vestry has discerned it's right to explore using that field for its divine purpose; that God is leading in this new project.

We believe that this is our moment to step out in faith, believing God has prepared this land for us to build not just walls, but a vibrant, Spirit-filled home that will serve generations and be a "Gateway" of His love.
