Transform

We’re looking forward to our next Transform worship night in Balerno Parish church this coming Sunday evening (21 April).

Transform is an evening of sung worship where we can pour out our hearts in devotion and praise as a whole church family. It’s an evening where we have extended time to wait on the Lord, to seek his face and to worship with all our hearts. We believe that as we gather in His presence, by His grace, we are changed and transformed through the work of the Holy Spirit. Transform is a wonderful opportunity to gather and encourage one another as we sing “psalms, hymns and songs from the Spirit” (Col 3:16) to our heavenly Father.

At our last Transform in March we gathered around the theme of the Kingdom. Ollie opened the evening with us praying the Lord’s prayer together. As we worshipped a new song based out of Psalm 24 began to rise, “Make way, make way for the king of glory”. This led to an extended time of declaration and corporate ministry as we responded to what God was saying to each of us. You can hear the recording from that night here - https://youtu.be/1T4UdBDWATA?si=a1Pyh1AKFV7Mj6cs

In February we trialled a more reflective worship evening with a smaller band but with a similar extended worship format. We had a wonderful evening in His presence together and so we’re now launching “Transform Acoustic” with our first evening being the 19th of May. These nights will follow a similar format of extended sung worship but will be led by a smaller band (typically acoustic guitar, keyboard and percussion) and will also be held in Balerno Parish Church to enable us to gather in greater numbers than we can fit comfortably in Ladycroft.

If you have never attended a Transform worship night I’d really encourage you to come along to one of the upcoming evenings and be blessed in the presence of the Lord.
