We partner with other UK organisations to support mission activities and bring change to people's lives.
We have a long established relationship with Holy Trinity Church of Scotland, West Hailes and activities include helping in their café (which opens Wednesday to Friday mornings), supporting the Food Bank and helping with the MOPS (Mothers of Pre Schoolers) programme on a Monday morning. Our financial support helps to pay for Angie Thomson the Centre Manager.
SU Scotland is committed to sharing the good news of Jesus with children and young people in Scotland. Half our financial support goes to the ESteam working in Edinburgh schools and the other half into SU’s general fund. There are members of the church on the staff of SU Scotland and many others are involved as volunteers, running SU groups in local schools and taking part in SU camps.
Bethany Christian Trusts works throughout Scotland to give homeless and vulnerable people a hope and a future – as an expression of Christian love in action. A number of St Mungo’s members are on the staff of Bethany and many volunteer particularly through the Care Van and Care Shelter.
We will give £12,000 to each of these partners this year. Members of St Mungo’s actively involved in all of them.
