The Bible is still on the best seller list but it must be the best seller that is least read.

There are many reasons for this, one being the fact that the Bible is not like any other book.  It is laid out differently, it is from another culture, and it talks about events that happened a long time ago.  Even in modern English it can be difficult to understand.

At St Mungo’s the inspiration and authority of the Bible is one of the foundational values and as Christians we believe that “Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another – showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way.”

(2 Timothy 3:16 - The Message)
