Here’s are some ideas on how you might get involved on a Sunday:
All our serving teams function on a variety of rota systems. Training and taster sessions are available where appropriate.
Youth (S1-S6): our Sunday morning youth ministry consists of cell groups for S3-6 and for S1 and S2 we have an activity based group called RS2. Most Sundays the youth join the adults for worship before moving onto their groups but once a month meet all together in the church building for their own worship event, envision.
Children (Nursery to P7): We think all children are great. Enjoy helping them get to know Jesus and grow spiritually. Activities include story, drama, teaching, arts & crafts, games, lively worship, prayer and ministry. All our material is written in-house and all resources are provided.
Little Wonders (Creche – 0 to 2 years): Babies and toddlers are warmly welcomed. This dedicated ministry helps the very youngest get to know and worship Jesus in a safe and loving environment.
Welcome Hosts: Providing a warm, helpful welcome and helping people feel comfortable at our services is crucial, especially for anyone visiting us. After the morning service refreshments are available and we invite guests and visitors to join us at the ‘Welcome’ point where there is a chance to chat with a friendly face over tea and coffee and find out more about the church.
Set Up Team: Enjoy transforming an empty concourse into a place of worship by putting out chairs before the morning service and praying that God will fill them.
Tech Team: Help bring ‘Worship to Life’ by learning one or more of the roles involved in operating the sound and vision equipment which has become so central to how we’ve grown as a church. This team also set up equipment before the morning service and store it away after the evening service.
Worship team: We love to worship and this team has the joy and privilege of leading our church in worship at our Sunday services.
