On Saturday 5^th and Monday 7^th May we will be having our Dare 2 Share weekend. What is Dare 2 Share ?  It is a weekend of community engagement, where we can as a church be ‘good news’ in our community, by serving them in practical ways. Over the past few years the youth have been involved in doing car washing, gardening, football,etc (and have been great ambassadors !) This year is an opportunity for us as adults to get involved, and do things that will compliment what is already around. To that end we are running a coffee morning at the church building on both mornings (numbers of volunteers for this are filling up as I write). In the afternoons we will be at Harmeny School in Balerno,(for children with particular needs), where we will be doing outdoor work, which may include helping assemble a bird hide, step cutting footpaths and wood chip surfacing,tree planting(etc)It’s a great opportunity for team work, and will all be supervised with tools provided. If you want to do a Harmeny slot please bring your wellies and suitable outdoor clothing.

 We’d love you to ‘come on board’ for this special weekend. At the core of Dare 2 Share is worship and prayer, and before we embark on these activities, we’ll be doing both. We will be meeting at 9.30am on both mornings, and 2pm in the afternoon, all at the church building
