Clan Gathering 19-25 July 2008

As the days get longer and the weather warmer is it time you thought about this summer’s holidays?  Clan Gathering is a great time of refreshing and a holiday for all ages and stages of life and Christian experience.

“The theme will be “Grace” - God’s amazing grace for us. This is something we sing about and rightly declare to be "Amazing".  Yet the devil is happy if we sing about something wonderful as long as he can keep us from truly truly living in the power, victory and authority of the Truth we are singing about.   I believe that as we explore this theme, wonderful freedom will break out in our lives and cruel and heavy chains will be snapped.  It is my prayer that God will be with us, the people He loves, our Glory and the Lifter of our heads.”     Kenny Borthwick, Clan leadership team

Speakers for 2008 include Mike Breen who led St Thomas, Sheffield with over 2000 members!   Don Williams a theologian with Vineyard who travels the world speaking, Kenny Borthwick, Amy Orr-Ewing, Mark Stibbe, Elaine Storkey and others as well as times of great worship with Brian Doerksen, David Ross, Kathryn Scott etc and prayer ministry.

There are booking forms on the information desk - including ones for day visitors. You can just turn up (adults £20 a day) but places in children/youth groups fill up so book in advance if you possibly can.  Check out the web site for all the details.  There is still a choice of accommodation - or take the tent and camp on site.  There are numerous opportunities to serve in children’s work, stewarding etc which bring a reduced rate.
