Cherished – Women’s Ministry
We aim to create an environment where:
- You feel special
- You get to know other women better
- You think through issues you face as a woman
- You use and develop your gifts
- You pray, support and mentor each other, and
- You enjoy being in God’s presence
We hold Saturday evening events every few months. The evenings start with drinks and desserts and a time to chat. We then have a talk and usually small group discussion focusing on the theme for the evening and we finish with worship and an opportunity to pray for each other.
Cherished events are open to all women over 18 within St Mungo’s. Contact Alison Wilson or Andrea Brewster.

Cherished: St Mungo’s Women’s MinistryNext event: Women of Wisdom. Saturday 4 Sept from 8pm at the church building. The book of Proverbs tells us that God gives us wisdom and James says that we can ask for more! Come and be inspired to share the wisdom God gives you in a world where, despite all the advice readily available online and in the media, there can often be little wisdom.
