    Guest Sunday next Sunday 28 Sept – The Story We’re In – more invitation cards available at the doors and information points.

    Alpha Launch Event – Thursday 2 Oct 7.30pm in the church building – a great evening of food, friends, Alpha interviews and the talk ‘Is there more to life than this?’  A great way to find out what Alpha is all about.  Invitation leaflets available at the information points

    Refine (S6-25 year olds) tonight in the church building after the evening service.  Everyone welcomeespecially any new students!

    Housegroup leaders meeting on Wednesday at 8pm in churchDo bless the leadership by offering to baby sit for any of the leaders who need this.

    Men’s Breakfast on Saturday 27th September, 8.30am at the church building (Ladycroft).  Derek Thomson will lead the focus on Spiritual Gifts . To sign up contact Bill on bill.thompson@stmungos.org  today

    Bethany Care Van gives out bedding and clothes to those in need, and we require someone to receive, sort and store the St Mungo’s part of this for our monthly turn at distribution.  If you have a large, dry space suitable and are willing, contact Melanie Kilburn on Melanie.kilburn@gmail.com.  Donations also readily received.

    Prayers

    Pray for the over 60 children many of whom are friends of Xplorers, 19 St Mungo’s team, 4 Destiny team, 4 young leaders and a cooks’ team who are  on an Xplorers’ Xpedition to Lendrick Muir this weekend. Please pray for a fun, safe weekend as we think about life as an xpedition and explore the difference Jesus makes to our journeys.

    Pray for the Young Leaders who are heading up Xplorers here this morningalongside Sarah Tomb.

    Pray for Malcolm as he goes to Toronto to attend conferences this week

    Pray for our politicians to govern wisely, well and for the common good, following on from the referendum result.
