    Week commencing 20 July 2014

    Children & Youth Teams are recruiting! A great opportunity to help children and young people grow their faith. For Sundays we need 4 people in Climbers [3/4yr olds]; a tech person in Adventurers [P1-3]; 2 females and 1 male in Xplorers [P4-7]; and 3 males for S1-3 cells. For Friday night youth we need 3 people for nrg [S1-3] and 4 [at least 2 males] for nbt [S3-6]. All teams work rotas and all materials are provided.     New total for Help the Hungry and Thirsty giving – the total has gone up again, to £26,000.  Thank you again to everyone who has given so generously.

    Flag and Dance Workshop – Saturday 16th August, 10 – 11.30 am in the Church building (over 18yrs).  Another opportunity to come along and try out using flags and ribbons in worship. Wear comfortable clothes, flat shoes/trainers and bring a bottle of water.  If you want more information or to let me know you can come along please email Ruth Ropper at enquiries@stmungos.org .

    Love After Marriage – final taster evening on Monday 18 August at 7.30pm in the ministry centre.  Course starts in September.  More details from John and Liz Bathgate.

    Children and Youth Ministry Staff Changes – Ruth Smart has decided not to return from maternity leave, and we will really miss her!  We’re delighted that George Gera has agreed to stay on staff and from September will work primarily with Xplorers and Youth. We’re also delighted that Andrea Brewster has agreed to stay on two days a week and from late September will work primarily with Little Wonders and Climbers.   Helen Crow will return from maternity leave on 1st Sept and it will be great to have her back in the role of Head of Youth Evangelism.

    Holy Trinity Wester Hailes) need volunteers to serve in their cafe (Wed,Thurs and Fri mornings) and in their Foodbank (Tues and Thurs 2-3pm) Please contact Angie Thomson for further information.

    Xplorers’ Xpedition 19-21 Sep 2014:Booking forms now available on the info stand, website and in Xplorers for this year’s annual camp at Lendrick Muir for children and their friends who’ll be in P5-7 in 2014/15 session. Places fill up fast for this real life adventure so please return forms asap using the details on the form.

    Youth Activities – there will be no youth events  over the summer until Thursday 14th Aug (Youth Worship band night) and Friday 15th August (nrg and nbt).

    Wellness centre is closed until 4th August.
