“Healthy growing churches go through times of change and today I want to announce a season of change in one particular ministry of the church.

After 13 fruitful and fantastic years of ministry in St Mungo’s, Andrew Bennett feels now is the time for him to move on to a fresh challenge and a new opportunity.

    Week commencing 7 March 2010

    Evening Baptism Service on Sunday March 14 – great outreach event to attend and bring friends to.  6pm in Balerno High School with baptisms in the school pool!

    Book Recommendations to broaden your study in Jeremiah: an accessible commentary is “The Message of Jeremiah” by Derek Kidner (in Bible Speaks Today series) a Bible biography; “Jeremiah: Speaking for God in a time of crisis” by David Day (ivp) and a reflective book “Run with the Horses” by Eugene Peterson.  All available on Amazon or from Christian book sellers.

    Clan youth leaders/ Young leaders training day at Holy Trinity Wester Hailes 10am-5pm on Saturday 13 March -theme is Making Jesus Known. Please contact Andrew Bennett or Helen Crow if you would like to go.

    Listening with the Heart Course: Last chance to sign up!  (great course as an introduction to counselling, but for anyone who wants to improve their pastoral and communication skills) on Fri 12/Sat 13 March and Fri 16/Sat 17 April.
