    Prayer for healing offered after the 10.30 service today in the glass fronted classroom.

    Vision Sunday/AGM.  At Last Sunday’s AGM John Bathgate and Gill Scott were affirmed (by overwhelming  majority) as new members of vestry, do pray for them and the other vestry members as they serve us in this capacity.  Collect your copy of the vestry report and financial accounts. Please listen to the Vision talk by Malcolm on the web site, and then collect your free gift via Kate!

    Meeting for housegroup and prayer cell leaders on Wednesday 28 January at 8pm in church

    Next Sunday (1st Feb) the ministry team  will be offering prophetic words of encouragement to any who would like receive these, after the morning service in the glass fronted classroom

    Theology School (introductory course for anyone at St Mungo’s)starting at 7.45pm on Thursday 26 February in Ministry Centre.  Dvds and table groups organized by Lesley Penny.    See website for all the details  and sign up at   places are limited and are filling up fast.

    Children and Youth Volunteers needed: 1 male/female to work in Climbers, 1 female leader to work in Adventurers (P1-3), 2 female leaders for Xplorers (P4-7), and 1 male to work in S3 Cell groups. All on a Rota basis.  Contact David on

    Heriot Watt Chaplaincy Lecture.  Monday 9 February 6.30pm James Watt Centre. ‘God, Science and Faith – Richard Dawkins v C.S Lewis on the meaning of life’ will be given by Professor Alister McGrath ,a biophysicist and theologian, from the University of Oxford.     St Mungo’s Gold.  New Group for over 60s – Launch events 2-4pm on Wed 25th Feb & Tues 24th March in the church building.  Afternoon Tea and opportunity to hear about future plans and to give your comments/suggestions.     Single Life Workshop in Edinburgh on 1- 4 May.  This 3.5 day (Bethel church) event focuses on how to do relationships well and is open to all singles over 18.  More info:
