    Healthy Living’ – a new morning series starting  next Sunday morning  focusing  on how to be physically as well as spiritually healthy .

    Housegroup leaders will be meeting on Wednesday 23 April at 8pm in church.  

    CAP money course – see flyers for all the details.  Great course for anyone to do.

    Men’s Breakfast – on Saturday 26th April –  continuing focus on work ; ‘In for the long haul’ – let Bill know today if you’re planning to come on bill.thompson@stmungos.org

    Cherished (St Mungo’s Women’s Ministry) invite your friends and join us on Saturday 10th May from 8 to 10.30pm in the Church Building for a craft evening. Suggested donation  £1.  Pick up an invitation or visit the website for more information.  Let Alison Wilson  or Jackie Smith know if you are coming or email cherished@stmungos.org by Sunday 4th May, if possible.

    Hope weekend.  Saturday 3rd May & Monday 5th May.  Practical opportunities on the Saturday (gardening, painting etc) in  Balerno.     Youth Hope and Family Fun Day parental consent forms to be returned to Sarah Tomb / George Gera / Wendy Brown by Sunday 27th April

    Passing the Baton for Older People ;Training for new volunteers for this befriending project with Bethany Christian Trust is taking place on April 26th 10am to 4pm. Please contact Jennifer Nelson for more details if you are interested in joining this ministry. www.bethanychristiantrust.com

    Increased giving to Living Stones, Pakistan – from this month we have increased our regular giving by 12% to £1,344/month (£16,128/year)

    Currie rugby club are having a large event on the morning of Sunday 27 April – parking will be an issue so consider walking, sharing lifts, or allow extra time to park further away

    Congratulations to Rod and Brodie Petrie on the birth of Anna on Monday 14 April

    Prayers

    Youth Alpha / Freedom in Christ away day – Please pray for the 18 young people who are going on these Away Days on Saturday.  Please pray for fun, good relationships, honest conversations and transformational encounters with God for each individual going!  

    Pray for those sitting exams – as exam time approaches please can you pray for all those young people who will be taking exams over the next month or so.  Please pray for peace, low stress levels, wise revision time management, for God to honour all the effort they’ve put in and for the young people to know that He has them in His hand.

    Pray for Jenny Abbott and Jonathan Mackwell as they get married on Saturday in Edinburgh
