Silent Prayer in Church

There is an opportunity for ‘silent prayer’ in the Church building, Ladycroft Balerno every Friday between 4 and 5 pm for those who may like to spend some quiet time with God.People are free to come at any point within that hour and pray for as short or long a period as they wish.  Sitting in silence with God is a rare chance to free ourselves from the bustle, chatter and vanity of the world for a short time. Silence is where God meets us truly. It gives Him the chance to open our hearts a little more and for some who are drawn to it, it opens a way to contemplate Him in love. So if you are free and are interested in this type of encounter with Jesus come along and spend some time with Him.
