Week commencing 7 February 2010

Cost only £50 for St Mungo’s members. Please contact Zonya Bewick  to sign up.

Alpha: if you could provide a meal for about 15 people on a Thursday evening please contact Alison Marshall.

Go Kids: interested in sharing God’s love and truth with kids? We are looking for two people to join our teams in Climbers (3-4yr olds) and Adventurers (P1-3), working on a rota with all materials provided. Great fellowship and enthusiastic children guaranteed! For further details please contact Clare Gardner, Children’s Director.

Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection training: Mondays 8 Feb and 22 March. If you have not yet replied to Wendy Brown about this, please do so asap.

Heriot Watt Public Lecture: Monday 8 Feb. 6.30pm in Lecture Theatre 4.  Prof Steve Fuller on “is atheism a science stopper?”  All welcome.

Muslims, Christians and Jesus: if you are interested to find out more about mission to Muslims ask Richard McArthur for details of a Frontiers day conference on 7 March in Glasgow.

Youth at Clan: We would like to give parents advance notice that the St Mungo’s youth team will not be taking young people to Clan this year.  However we do recommend Clan youth as a very positive experience for young people and would encourage those who can, to perhaps think about getting a small group of friends together to go for the week.  Cairnsmill campsite (01334 473 604) is within walking distance of the venue.

Congratulations to Brian and Ruth Lorimer on the arrival of Ben on Friday 29 January.
